Amici Pizza Café began in 2022 with a vision from its founder, Jas: to create a welcoming restaurant where a good evening could continue well into the night. After moving from Sydney to Adelaide, he saw an opportunity to offer something meaningful—a place where finishing work late or wanting a relaxed late dinner didn’t mean missing out on a proper dining experience.
The foundations of Amici were built through years in hospitality. With a master’s qualification in professional accounting and business from the University of the Sunshine Coast in Sydney, Jas began as a front-of-house manager in a busy Greek restaurant before spending four years as a full-time restaurant manager. That experience shaped his understanding of what makes people return: thoughtful service, consistency and the feeling of being looked after.
Today, Amici has grown into a late night dining destination in Grange, welcoming guests until 2am. With good food, a carefully selected wine list and a relaxed atmosphere, we bring people together around the table. From an unhurried dinner to a catch-up after a long shift, our purpose is to make the later hours feel as welcoming as the start of the evening.
